I don’t think it’s fully set in yet that I get to see all of these bands in one day. Yes, I’d love to shoot it, but am not even that bummed that I’m not. Not to mention I get to see a ton of my friends. Is it Saturday yet?
This is cool! States in the info that a feature length film is coming. Take the time to watch it, whether you’re into hardcore or not. If you are: you’ll appreciate the message, if you’re not: you just may understand what I’m about a little better.
Yo, Power Trip was insane at Breast Fest! More photos here: www.facebook.com/KateFresePhotography/
Something tells me he really likes Suburban Scum… Can’t blame him! I do, too! That’s all for today, folks! I’m taking some time to unwind. I’ll get back to editing and posting the photos from Breast Fest tomorrow! Nighty night! <3- Katebreed
Incendiary’s set at Breast Fest was one of the craziest I have ever shot! Completely out of this world! Here’s a little sneak peak. I’ll be posting the rest to my Facebook and Flickr in a couple minutes.
Breast Fest 2012
It was my first time making the trip down to Wilmington, NC, for Breast Fest. Even though I was running on little sleep from a drive that felt like eternity, I still managed to have an absolute blast shooting the show. It’s awesome to see people in the hardcore scene giving back to the community. Cancer is something that has hit pretty much everyone close to home in one way or another. Seeing a bunch of great bands and hardcore kids come together to support the fight against breast cancer is inspiring. Whether you were there to support the cause or just to see some of your favorite bands play, you were helping to make a difference. Cheers to Scottie for putting this fest on every year. I hope to start making the trip down from now on.
That being said, I’m starting to edit the photos from the show now! They’ll be posted to my photography Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/KateFresePhotography/ and my Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kfresephoto/ Help spread the word if you can!
This is what I care about:
family, music, movies, art, friends, animals. Food is pretty cool, too. That about sums it up.
Leaving my house at 8:30 p.m. to drive to Jerz to hitch a ride with friends down to NC. I don’t know when I’m going to sleep. On the way down? On the way back? Who knows. Can’t wait for some awesome hangs, awesome bands, and awesome photos. Can’t stop, won’t stop!
